I’m Alvaro, known by my customers and friends as “Digga” or “Al” and I’ve been a barber for over 20 years. Originally from Peru, I was raised in Los Angeles from age six where I developed a passion for art and have grown to enjoy a respectable following on the L.A. art scene. Everything is art to me, especially barbering, and I strive to apply artistic skill to every service that I provide my customers.

As a young man, I first attended barber school in Miami and finished at American Barber College in South Central Los Angeles. But my hands-on education came from the Masters at the infamous Legends The Barbershop in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles, where I am one of a few Latino Barbers and have held a chair for 20 years. I enjoy making strong connections with my clients and helping them express their personal style.
